I’m back from two trips, one to San Diego, CA, for work, and another to Middle Haddam, CT, for a wedding, and there’s a lot to report. The most exciting is La Jolla Cove, the first place I visited after I set my bags down in the hotel. Behold:

I didn’t take photos there, so I’m thankful for the generous people of flickr for sharing these.
Of course, there were mollusks! (And other invertebrates as you can see in the photo) Mostly I saw limpets clinging to the rocks like in this photo.

And as much as I hate to say it, the vertebrates steal the show a bit at La Jolla Cove. There are many more animals to see there; these are just the ones I saw in person.
